At InBody, we are committed to providing you with a great customer experience. As part of that goal, we utilize certain generative artificial intelligence (“Gen AI” or “AI”) tools to help you break down our Result Sheets, gain a better understanding of how our award-winning products work, get to know our company and its practices, and other information which may be helpful to you. However, as useful as these AI tools may be, they are simply tools with limitations on how they may be appropriately utilized.
First, our Gen AI functionalities are not meant to replace our human employees; no matter what one of our AI chatbots may tell you, our AI cannot:
1. Enter into any agreements with you or anyone else on behalf of Biospace, Inc. (“InBody USA”) or any of its affiliate or parent companies;
2. Provide or offer discounts on InBody products, or any other products for that matter;
4. Make any official statements whatsoever on behalf of InBody USA, or any of its affiliate or parent companies.
Should our Gen AI attempt to do any of the above, InBody hereby disclaims any and all such activities; you agree and understand that the Gen AI does not represent InBody USA, or any of its affiliate or parent companies, and that InBody will deem any such claims, promises, and statements void.
Second, our Gen AI isn’t a diagnostic or analytical tool; it doesn’t actually know or do anything other than reproduce information provided by a human (or digital) contributor. Our Gen AI relies upon medical, technical, and other informational resources provided to it. However, please understand that our Gen AI is not licensed, credentialed, or authorized to make any claims regarding your health, health outcomes, or strategies/tactics regarding your health. As such, please:
1. Make sure to confirm our Gen AI’s statements regarding Result Sheet interpretations and your health in general with a medical professional;
2. Don’t rely on our AI and make sure to do your own research; and
3. Ask one of our human customer service representatives if you have any additional or follow-up questions.
Third and finally, our AI, and artificial intelligence in general, is far from perfect and makes mistakes. Sometimes, AI-generated content can be inaccurate, misleading, or entirely fabricated (sometimes called “hallucinations”); because of this, it’s very important that you confirm any such information with an alternative resource and/or a human representative.
